TAROTDOXA, carved in layered color through black wax

Meaning isn't added.
It's revealed.

Tarotdoxa is an iPhone tarot app with a real reader's voice. Every reading scrapes away the layer that hides what was already underneath.

COMING SUMMER 2026 See what it is

THE IDEA

Carved, not painted.

Most tarot apps add. Sparkles, gradients, glowing overlays, one more coat of mystical paint. Tarotdoxa is built on sgraffito, the old technique of layering vivid color, sealing it under black wax, and carving the dark away so the buried color shows through. Nothing is added on top. Every letter of the logo, every card back, every control in the app is a cut through the dark.

A good reading works the same way. It doesn't paint a story onto your situation. It removes what's in the way.

  • The first T holds a goblet. CUPS
  • The first O is a five-pointed star in a circle. PENTACLES
  • The X crosses a knotted wand with a sword. WANDS · SWORDS
  • The second O spirals inward, small lights coiling toward center. You'll watch it turn while your reading takes shape. THE DOXA

INSIDE THE APP

What's inside.

A daily card read against the actual sky

Your card of the day isn't pulled from a hat. The engine weighs the Major Arcana against today's transits, so the card belongs to the day you're actually having.

Spreads that scale with the question

One card for clarity. Three for shape. A five-card situational when something specific is on your mind, a couples spread for what's shared, and the Celtic Cross when it's time to go deep.

A voice, not a template

Readings arrive in one voice, trained on a working reader's two decades of practice. Warm, direct, occasionally blunt, never canned. A spoken grounding ritual settles you while your cards are drawn.

All 78 cards, free for everyone

The full card library ships open. Meanings, suits, elements, the lot. Knowing what the cards mean should never be the paid part.

You, in numbers and signs

Birth cards, life path, your big three, and the energies your chart leans on. The app doesn't just read cards. It reads the person holding them.

A journal that keeps the thread

Readings save to your device and line up as a record you can return to. Streaks notice when you show up daily. A reading is material, not a verdict.

And after launch: Reading Chat

Sit with a reading you've already done and ask it questions. The deck answers in context, about your spread, your positions, your day.

ON THE ROADMAP

THE RITUAL

How a reading works.

I

Ground

Her voice walks you through a short grounding ritual while the cards are drawn. You arrive before the reading does.

II

Reveal

The spread is read as one piece, position by position, in plain language that respects the tradition without hiding behind it.

III

Sit with it

Save it. Journal it. Return to it tomorrow. The reading is the start of the conversation, not the end.
